On October 2 2025, another internal training session took place in the Conference Room of the Hospital Particular de Alvor, dedicated to the Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) Fast-Track Pathway and the Sepsis Fast-Track Pathway. The session was aimed at medical and nursing teams from the Intensive Care, Emergency, and Inpatient departments.
The session included a presentation of the new clinical guideline, led by Dr Ricardo Louro, Specialist in Internal Medicine and Clinical Director of HPA Alvor, who provided an in-depth overview of the procedures and protocols related to ACS.
This was followed by a presentation from Dr Pedro Rouxinol, Specialist in Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine and Coordinator of the Intensive Care Unit at HPA Alvor, who discussed the latest updates concerning the Sepsis Fast-Track Pathway, highlighting the importance of early identification and coordinated intervention in these critical clinical situations.
The training session was held in person at HPA Alvor and streamed online to the HPA Gambelas and HPA Madeira units, allowing for the broad participation of teams across different locations.
